Shipping & Returns


To guarantee delivery before Christmas, please place orders before 12pm on Saturday 17th December (Uk Mainland Only), orders placed after this date will not be processed until January 2023. 

PLEASE NOTE - all orders being sent as small parcels and orders being sent outside UK mainland will potentially be impacted by the current Royal Mail postal strikes.



We aim to have orders delivered within 2-4 working days (Please add additional days for Northern Ireland, Highlands and Channel Islands)

At our busiest times such as Christmas, please allow a few days extra for your order to be delivered.

Current Royal Mail strike information.
Due to the current Royal Mail postal strikes we can not confirm delivery before Christmas, for any parcels we sent via Royal Mail. This includes all small parcels and orders being sent outside UK mainland. If you wish to confirm delivery before Christmas then you will need to increase your order enough to become a medium parcel. We will be running a normal service (3-5 working days, can increase during busy periods) up until the 18th of December. Please get in touch if you have any questions




We use a combination of Royal mail and Dpd.
The price is based on the weight and size of the products and will be calculated after you enter your address.
Items such as Greeting Cards, or our Tiny Salt Spoons will be sent as a small parcel via Royal Mail.
All other items will be sent via Dpd.
Please note that in order to protect delicate items, some products will need to be sent in large parcels.

Due to a technical flaw with Shopify, some orders are charged twice for shipping, this is due to the products in the order coming from 2 locations, and unfortunately, Shopify does not offer an option to only charge shipping once.

We do our best to refund one of the shipping costs as soon as we see it, and we will contact you to let you know that the refund has been processed. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully, Shopify will rectify this issue asap.

Customers will be notified by email when the order is ready for pick up. 
Pick up times are between 10am -  5:00pm Monday - Saturday.
Please bring your confirmation email when you come to collect your order.
This service is free and there is no minimum spend required. 



We hope you are happy with your purchases from Closet & Botts but if not, we will be happy to offer a full refund on any item as long as it is returned in a saleable condition, within 28 days. After the 28 days unfortunately we can not offer a refund or exchange.

Christmas returns policy:
Orders made during the months of October - December, whether in-store or online, can be returned until 28th January. For purchases outside these months, the typical returns policy of 28 days applies

Some of our products are second hand and may show some signs of ageing. We try to show clear photos of any signs of wear, but this is not always possible.

Any damages caused during transit should be photographed and reported to us within 7 days of receiving the product.
Please note, we are unable to reimburse postage costs.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Any refunds will be processed once we have received and inspected your returned item. Credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment once this process is complete.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are returning a damaged item and do not want a replacement then the cost of the return shipping will be added onto your refund.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


We do our best to fairly represent our products. Please make sure to always check dimensions and in some rare cases allow for some slight colour variations.
We try to recycle as much of our packaging as possible so as to not add any extra packaging costs.
